Gloucester, Massachusetts
Harborview Inn
A three-level Victorian on Stacy Boulevard, looking out over the outer harbor. Five rooms, one fireplace, a garden out back.
From the innkeeper
Hi, I’m John. I’ve lived here all my life — the house, and the city around it.
The Harborview sits across Stacy Boulevard from the Man at the Wheel, looking out over Gloucester’s outer harbor — America’s oldest working waterfront, still working. Five rooms, individually decorated, not matched. A fireplace in the lobby. A garden out back. Fresh fruit and pastries from around Cape Ann most mornings.
Pavilion Beach is a five-minute walk. Downtown’s galleries and restaurants, a short walk past that.
I’ll be on the porch when you get here. — John
